Before Your Appointment

You need to wait 2 weeks after a semi-permanent color service or 4 weeks after a permanent color service or highlight color service before getting your hair chemically straightened. After your straightening, you will need to wait 2 weeks before doing a semi-permanent color service and 4 weeks before doing a permanent color service. Do not do any deep conditioning treatments the 2 days before your service because of the ability of protein to coat the hair unevenly.

Wash and detangle your hair the night before your appointment.
Do not apply any styling product, or leave in conditioner to your hair.
Let it airdry, hanging freely.
Do not put your hair in a ponytail or clips or anything.
If your hair is not totally dry by the time of your appointment, that is fine.

Ask Questions. Make sure all questions are answered and all issues resolved before the day of your appointment.
