UnSprung is a no-tipping salon. Prices below are the entire amount due for services.

Straightening Services

• Permanent Straightening (Japanese Thermal, TR, Curl reduction...): $500 and up. (Price increases with product usage, NOT timing) @6-8 hour appt. Includes complimentary haircut, shower cap, stylist choice of hair product suited to client’s needs. The most anyone has been charged was $40 over the base price.
• Permanent Spot Straightening/Bang Straightening: $72 hourly. Includes a complimentary shower cap.
• Semi-Permanent Straightening (Keratin Treatments, KT, BKT...): $180 and up. (Price increases with product usage, NOT timing) @3 hours appt. Includes a complimentary shower cap. $20 over base is the most anyone has been charged. $5 off if you bring your own respirator/FM gas cartridge.
• Semi-permanent Spot Straightening/Bang Straightening/Ends only: $62 hourly. Includes a complimentary shower cap.
• Professional’s only Keratin Treatment: @1hour/$62. This service is offered to licensed hair stylists who’ve had at least one complete KT service at UnSprung. Must present proof of license. KT solution will be applied to clarified, then dried hair. The rest is up to you.
• Customized combinations: Semi and Permanent straightenings can be combined to achieve almost any goal. Prices determined during consultation.
• Extensions (Semi): $62 hourly. Human hair only. Next day pickup. Excellent for maintaining health of extensions.
• Trio Package (Semi-): Prepaid. $445 and up. For clients who want quick accumulation, 3 treatments within 6 weeks.
• Shared Appointments (Semi): $310 and up. @5 hour appt. Adds time to individual straightening, but saves time over all between 2 people.

Policies

Deposits. 50% deposit taken upon scheduling regular appointments. 100% taken for prepaid packages.

Cancellations. Deposits will be refundable or transferable if 48 hours notice is given. Notice of cancellation must be given by phone, not email. The deposit is forfeited if less than 48 hours notice is given.

If a deposit was not taken at the time of booking, the amount of the deposit will be added to the next scheduled appointment. Clients who no show or arrive with an infectious disease and have to be turned away, will owe the entire amount of the service immediately.

Prepaid packages are non-refundable/non-transferable.

The cancellation policies are enforced regardless of circumstance. Most businesses add a percentage to their prices in order to cover the cost of cancellations and no-shows. However, I personally think it's unfair to financially burden the clients who arrive, with the costs of clients who don't. I will never build in an added fee to cover the costs of missed, canceled, no-show appointments. This helps keep costs down for everyone and only effects people who do not give proper notice of cancellation.
